Regional HSE Manager

Job Purpose

Act as Specialist Material Expert (SME) and overall lead for delivery of HSE to Facility Management which include operation & maintenance of mechanical / electrical equipment, power supply, air-conditioning, water supply, firefighting systems, general building maintenance, space management, housekeeping services, pantry / vending / food services, horticulture, pest control, mail room, conference infrastructure, front office and any other services as specified in the service agreement.

Key Duties

  • Understand & interpret both State & Federal Law.
  • Develop & implement Policies & Procedures as part of IREP’s Integrated Management System (ISO, 9001, 14001 & 45001).
  • Ensure that internal audits are planned and carried out at planned intervals. Monitor the effectiveness of internal audit process.
  • Undertake Contractor approvals as required by IREP’s Contractor Approval Process.
  • Assist local FM’s to fulfill their HSE responsibilities within their scope of delivery.
  • Investigating, preparing Investigation reports and recommending corrective and preventive actions for the Health & Safety and Environmental incidents and Customer Complaints.
  • Identify and develop necessary resources for sustaining HSE initiatives.
  • Meeting & monitoring Objectives & Targets required by the client & those of IREP.
  • Ensure submission of monthly and annual HSE reports are submitted on time.
  • Monitor training requirements.
  • Conducting periodical safety & environmental building inspections.
  • Ensure awareness is given to all staff, work force and contracting agencies on HSE topics and requirements.
  • Coordinate with the client’s representatives for all EHS related issues.

Essentials

  • HSE accredited qualifications (minimum Health & Safety).
  • Experience of 5+ years in HSE role in facility industry.
  • Good planning, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal).
  • Highly developed Presentation, training and coaching skills.
  • Audit experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001.
  • Readiness to travel to client sites when required.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft office.
  • Environmental accredited qualification.
  • Experience in working internationally.
  • Experience in ISO 9001.
  • Technical/engineering background.
  • Experience of managing a team.
