Meritorious MEP Estimation Engineer, B.Eng, B.Tech (Electrical or Mechanical) or B.Sc Facilities Management Who is thorough in making the MEP Proposals Independently. Should be well conversant with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Drainage, HVAC, BMS & ELV equipment and its prices. AutoCAD proficiency is advantages.
An experienced tendering and estimation engineer with minimum 5 years’ experience in UAE MEP facilities management, to create competitive tenders for cost estimations for annual maintenance contracts and planned, preventative and emergency maintenance projects including retrofit/refurbishment.
Sound Knowledge of FM / Refurbishment/Retrofit Contracts and understanding of legal terms /Risks involved / SLAs / KPIs/ equipment, materials and BOQ cost analysis and contract pricing, apply volume and rate discounts, tender reviews and mobilization plans and make informative recommendations.
Assess the scope of work and develop detailed project cost estimates based on variables and risks and change orders.
Prepare and review commercial and technical comparison sheets, draft tender documents, technical specifications, bids, quotations, RFPs and RFQs, cost variance reports and obtain contractor and sub-contractor price estimations.
Conduct site visits/ survey, Facilities condition assessments, market research and analysis to provide competitive pricing.
Review draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included
